Designed as a large-volume prepared mix that's bursting with the flavours of a Christmas time, making it ideal for your celebration. Reserve the remaining syrup for brunch beverages, desserts, or for additional servings of the drink.
The Bikini Cocktail
Yields 10 guests
For the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
Making the Syrup: Place every components in a saucepan, heat until it reaches a simmer, agitating until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the burner allowing it to cool down entirely. Decant into a sealable bottle, seal keeping it chilled, it will last for around four weeks.
For the Premix: Pour all the liquids in a big jug, allow it to infuse for an hour, then pass it through best through a fine cloth, making it fully clarified.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your cocktail base to a cocktail shaker containing ice, gently stirring gently for one minute until cold. Pour into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, decorate with the cranberries and complete it with a light spray of mandarin oil over the top.
